Evenflo Car Seat Expiration Date

According to Evenflo, all Evenflo car seats and booster seats now have a 10-year expiration from the date of manufacture. The date appears on a label on the product along with the model name, model number and date of manufacture.

Seats made before January 2025

Evenflo says that a seat manufactured before January 2025 may have a different expiration date, and that you should follow the date on the seat you own. So for an older Evenflo seat, don't assume 10 years. Read the label or the manual.

Where is the date on an Evenflo seat?

The date of manufacture is printed on a label, usually on the bottom, side or back of the seat. Look for wording like "DO NOT use this car seat after [date]" or "DO NOT use this car seat ___ years after the date of manufacture".

Calculate it

Example: an Evenflo seat made on 10 February 2025 with a 10-year life expires on 10 February 2035. Use the expiration checker with the date from your label.
